"Scrambling up tree, sense of my limbs and tree's limbs outstretched being the same, yet separate. Animals below, flailing, running down road as I stared out through the tree. I spun around to see cats, mini-bison, trying to see from all angles simultaneously. I seemed to be in the middle of a wheel-like motion, trying to stay elevated."

My Jungian analyst said that I was in a transitional state, between "the natural herd" and reflective consciousness. Trying to operate on all levels made outer reality unusually draining. These wheel-like formations in the psyche correspond to what Friedrich Nietzsche called a primary movement of the Soul, a self propelling.
